IMG’s Globehopper Senior single trip insurance offers competitive medical benefits. Not only does it cover pre-existing conditions, but it also includes financial assistance for any home nursing care, medical equipment, some medical appointments, and prescription medications required while abroad. Blue Cross Blue Shield’s GeoBlue plan covers travel worldwide, making it ideal for any globetrotters. The plan offers comprehensive medical coverage while abroad, including options with a $0 deductible.

Seniors over 80 are eligible for travel insurance. In fact, there are some companies, like Travel Guard and World Trips, that have plans specifically designed for people over 80.
Not all travel insurance plans cover pre-existing conditions. If this is important to you, consider a plan that explicitly says it does, such as IMG and Nationwide Travel Insurance.
